!! Shifter Race Weekend Recap !! Hey everyone, this past weekend was an amazing weekend. I had my first two races in the shifter, powered by a Cr125. It was like nothing I've experienced before. Let's recap them.

CKRC Round 3 (rounds 1 and 2 are postponed) June 19th. Round 3 was my first ever race in a shifter. In heat 1 I had a 6th place finish with a best time of 54.025s. Heat 2 saw me drop to 9th with a time of 53.660, a 6 tenth improvement over heat 1 and my best time of the weekend. The final saw me finish 7th with a best time of 53.903.

CKRC round 4 June 20. I finished heat 1 in 7th place with a best time of 54.032. During heat 2 I suffered a push back penalty of 5 seconds, however being that I was last, I couldn't become more last . I set a time of 53.951 and finished 7th. For the final I finished 6th and set a time of 53.849.

Racing shifter was very different than racing Rotax. I can't wait to get out and practice more and try to close up the gap with the other drivers. I have a lot to work on when it comes to driving the shifter and I'm excited to be pushing myself to the limit in two classes this year. Next race is July 3rd.
