! Shifter Race Weekend Recap !!
Rounds 1 & 2 of the Alberta Shootout were amazing! The shifter grid on Saturday was a big one! Currently I am sitting 4th in the Shifter Championship. Let's get into the recap!
CKRC Round #2 / ABSO Round #1
I started the weekend with a 11/14 qualifying, there was one DD2 out there during the session. During the first heat I made up a spot and finished in 10th which was quite the battle. The other driver had a KZ which gave him ~10 more HP than me.
In Heat 2 I finished in 9th which was a great way to continue the day. In the final I finished 9th which was awesome, it feels great to finish higher than where I qualified!
Saturday was a great day with the large grid!
CKRC Round #5 / ABSO Round #2
I qualified 5/6 on Sunday, which saw a much smaller grid. During the first heat another driver joined the grid. No positions were gained and I finished 5th
In the 2nd heat and final the racing was pretty much the same. I finished in 6th both heats since the driver who joined the grid had a much faster engine than me.
It was another amazing weekend and I can't wait to get racing again.
